I never thought I had a compulsive gambling problem. I would always make excuses on how I was spending my money; it needs to stop. I want to be able to talk with my husband without being yelled at all the time about how much money I took out on credit card and how much I've lost. I don't want to do this anymore but don't know how I can stop gambling.

I know what you mean because I really want to stop going to the casino and stop playing poker (Texas hold'em). Ever since I learned how to play this game 1 1/2 year ago, all I think about is playing Texas hold'em poker. I used to play online and lost a lot of money but now I go to local casino and spend hours at a time there losing a lot of money and feeling really bad about myself. I think about all the things I could have bought with the money I wasted on gambling. I don't know how to stop playing Texas hold'em because I want to go everyday to play. I think we just need to stop going to the casino and stop playing Texas hold'em as long as we can.
